Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup shortening (butter or marg.)
- 1 cup sour milk or regular milk with 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups raw rhubarb
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- Topping
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup brown sugar
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9 inch square or round greased and floured cake pan. Sprinkle with topping and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
