Shortbread (Grandma Green)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound butter with 1 tbsp lard
  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 3 ½ cups flour- fill with ½ cup corn starch

Directions

  1. Cream butter, lard and sugars. Add four 1 cup at a time
  2. Roll to ¼ inch thick, Cut cookies and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 300º until golden brown, about 25 minutes
