I don’t know where this recipe came from. Egg is very unusual in shortbread
Yield
3-4 dozen
Ingredients
- ½ lb. butter ( 1 cup)
- 1 egg old
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- Enough flour to handle without sticking to fingers
Directions
- Roll into balls, put on cookie sheet, press down lightly. No baking time, but I would presume a low over 275-300 for 10 minutes or so
