Scotch Short bread

8×8 pan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 ½ cup flour sifted
  • or 2 ¼ cup pre sifted all purpose flour
  • salt

Directions

  1. Mix above ingredients
  2. Press evenly into 8 X 8 pan. Prick with fork
  3. Bake in slow over – 25 for 35 to 40 minutes until colden
  4. Cool in pna
  5. Cut into squares.
