Brown Sugar – Rita McKibbon

Directions

  1. 1 lb. butter fairly soft
  2. Beat until light. Add ½ tsp soda and beat carefully. Add 1 packed cup brown sugar, and continue beating.
  3. Slowly add, and beat well, 4 cups flour
  4. Pat to ¼ inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter.
  5. Bake at 250 to 275 degrees, watch closely.
