Coconut Drop Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup lard
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 ½ cup coconut
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ½ cup flour

Directions

  1. Cream together lard, butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients,
  2. ake in moderate oven 325 to 350 degrees.

Cinnamon Chip Crunchies

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 3 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oil
  • dry ingredients
  • 1 pkg cinnamon chips
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup rice crispies
  • ½ cup flaked coconut

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients
  2. Cream butter,sugars,egg
  3. Add dry ingredients
  4. Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325º for 13-18 minutes.

  • 2 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 cups rolled oats,
  • ½ cup coconut
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • A little salt and vanilla

Directions

  1. Bring sugar, shortening and milk to a boil and let boil 1 minute and no longer.
  2. Then add remaining ingredients and drop on ungreased pan.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 3tbsp cocoa
  • ½ cup coconut
  • ½ cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Melt 1/4 lb of butter ( ½ cup), 2 cups of sugar, ½ cup milk. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add dry ingredients and 1 tsp vanilla.
  2. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool
